Post by: Colin on October 02, 2011, 02:36:48
Here you will find Rules on the posting and editing of content to the COG Wiki

The Wiki is an encyclopedia of information that anyone can edit

Content is restricted to factual information relevant to the Kawasaki Concours,
It is prime focus is technical articles for the C10 & C14.

The pages will be closely moderated, any irrelevant posts that provide little/no value will be edited or removed.

The Wiki is generally open to all to view, however some pages may be restricted to specific member groups.
Any forum member with a post count of at least 10 posts can submit and/or edit articles.

Title: Proposed discussion page rules.

People should not use the discussion pages to kudo the author, ask questions about their bike, or relate anecdotes. Even though it may seem relevant, these types of posts do not add knowledge to the article. Please use the forum for these types of comments. ---WillyP

Start a new discussion page page only if there is not already one started relevant to the topic you want to start. When editing an existing page add your name to your edit. ---WillyP

Do you propose to add the above to the Article right? -- Colin
  |--for now, there is no notification on edits, so it would be better to create a new page. Even if the new page says only 'bump' or 'I made some edits to the article or added some discussion'. That way it shows up in the new posts list. These posts can later be deleted. ---WillyP
