Admore wiring
« on: August 24, 2016, 02:10:26 am »
For those who've installed it, do you recall the connections between the Admore and stock harnesses?

On my 02 the stock harness wires are (per FSM & Clymer):

Black w/yellow: Ground
Green: Left turn signal
Gray: Right turn signal
Red: Tail/running/license plate lights
Blue: Brake light

Admore harness wires:

Black: Ground
Yellow: Left turn signal
Green: Right turn signal
Blue: Tail/running/license plate lights
Red: Brake light

I'm going to match up function to function but wanted someone who's installed before to chime in and verify, please.

Thank you!

I used an Admore wiring harness on my blue '01 C-10.  I can look at my notes later to find what sequence I used.

A picture under my seat may not be as helpful as my notes.

Had a question and sent them a note.
He replied immediately.

From Admore:
We unfortunately cannot confirm the wire colorings for your '02 Concours as we do not have the wiring diagram for that specific model. It sounds like you have manual that should give you accurate information.

As for your light kit you will want to connect it as follows:

Blue   --------   Tail light (switched +12v)
Red  ----------   Brake light
Green --------   Right turn indicator
Yellow -------    Left turn indicator
Black --------    Ground

We hope this helps with your installation. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

I'm going to go with what I think is correct.  I'll post results in case anyone ended ever asks.

Unplugged the tail/brake light harness in the rear cowl, it has only three wires: Red, Blue, and Black/Yellow.  Used a 12V test light to make sure of the site functions and Red was Tail light ad's Blue was Brake light.  Installed per my original post, used the PosiTaps and they worked well!

Used PosiTaps for the rear turn signals till ad's the light kit works great!  Very pleased with it.
