Are the saddle bags ABS plastic?

Are the saddle bags and the black portion of the rear fender made of ABS plastic?  Thanks.

No, they are polypropylene.  Same for black inner fairing parts.

If you are asking because repairs are needed  :( , it will not hold with any known adhesive.

Plastic welding is your best option.

THAT there is pretty neat stuff..I'll be getting some soon, for those 'just in case' moments...
It's about time somone came up with an adhesive that works...the video makes sense also, even tho this does require the 'pre bond flame thing', which is the key, it seems logical.

My experience with thinks in tubes, keep for just in case, is they age and
by the time I need it it's not any good.
