Ordered my "buddies" this morning and Dave sent an e-mail that afternoon that they were in the mail! Wow, now that is what I call service. Way to go, I'm spreading the word. 8)

boilermaker-

Glad to oblige. You should see them first of the week. Let me know what  you think.

Best,

Dave R.

boilermaker-

Just a quick note to check whether you received your grips quickly, as promised?

I installed  mine last Sunday and have been riding every day since. I really like then and they do fit my hands well. They also take out  most of our 'Connie vibration from the engine' issue.  I suggest you guys try these out, I am sure your going to like them.

250 miles and they feel good!  Not quite as tight in the seams as I had hoped, but good enough!

Daytona_Mike-

Glad you got the OGB's "up and running" for yourself. And it's really cool for me to see people independently observing these truths on their new grips like: vibration reduction, and "filling your hands better so  you feel more in control of your bike". Personal discovery is so much more powerful than anything I could ever claim, or tell them, no matter how many times I have heard these things from customers (which is regularly, and all the time).

Thanks again for your input , Mike, and welcome to the growing family of happy and satisfied Original Grip Buddies customers.

Best,

Dave R.

After I'd had them on a few days, I decided I needed a bit more diameter on those grips, so I took the Buddies off and put on a bit of cork bar wrap before putting the Buddies back on again.  The neoprene easily stretched to accommodate it; now they feel absolutely perfect!

I love the way they react in the rain too - nice and tacky with no slipping at all.  It might even get cold again one night so I can check out the heated grips.

ChipDoc-

Wondered if you ever got a chance to test the heated grips with my OGB's and the cork wraps.
Inquiring minds want to know.

No, we're way past the point where the heated grips are needed down here.  I've turned them on and you can feel the heat, but as you know, the grips feel completely different if it's not already cold out.  If things turn around I'll be able to take a trip to somewhere chilly before next winter, but if not I'll let you know around the end of November.

Meanwhile I'll continue to enjoy these wonderful grips unheated!

Heated grips work just fine. I liked that they didn't turn soft and gooey when hot like my old grips did

Daytona_Mike-

Glad you picked up on that!   8)

I worked long and hard to find the correct hook strip with glue that remains stable up to 186 degrees F. You are living proof that the extra money I spent on that component was worth it. I actually spent 4 times the $$ on that hook than my original hook during initial testing. fortunately, I had a great tester who helped me identify just that issue so we could build a superior product for guys just like you.  :beerchug:

Got any Pics?
Wanted to encourage those who have installed the OBB's/OGB's on their bikes to post pics of the installations so the rest of us can get a look. Kinda helps to be able to see how they look/work on a variety of bikes.

Thanks, :c017:

Dave, kind of late making my report.
I ended up having to take them back off.  They fit fine and gave a nice large grip, however some time in the past my brake lever must have gotten bent.  I ended up with very little room between the grips and the lever on the right side.  Clutch side was fine.  Never noticed the bend before.  I even have the adjustable levers and still tight.  I could use them, it did not actually interfear with the lever, just too close for comfort for me.

Good Morning Dave
I have just submitted my order. I am willing to give these a try, to see if they will help reduce the vibration.
Thanks.
