BikeVis "Bullet v2" Running Lights
« on: March 20, 2012, 12:44:05 am »
So I took a chance, and got some of these "Bullet Lights" from Bike Vis.  These
lights offer the smallest 'footprint' on the bike itself, they're tiny, so they don't
compromise the look of the bike.  They just add visible light.

I don't do a lot of riding at night, but when I do, I want to be seen.  These
LEDs are TINY, but produce good conspicuity lighting, with a minimal draw
on the electrical system.

These lights actually 'glimmer' when on, so I shot a quick video to show the 'effect'.

Here's the actual light installed on the front fender:

This is the lights on during the day.  This pic gives NO justice, as they appear MUCH brighter,
but as they do glimmer, they might have been dim at the moment I shot the pic... who knows.

Here's where they 'shine'.  Night pics!

Video with headlight and 'glimmer' feature shown.

Overall, I am pretty happy with my purchase.  I still have two more I want to mount
on the upper faring under the head light.  Then I'll consider upgrading the headlight to
HID.  Hello Murphs....

Looking good Mcfly. I like where you mounted them. This is what I did...

I still have that other set Ron....  Like what you did too...  Good idea!

I was also thinking of putting them IN the side reflector housing, but I
fear they are set too far back and would catch sight of them in the mirrors.

The lights have a broad angle of view, so I think they have to go forward on the bike.
