Running Lights and Mounts
« on: August 09, 2016, 03:46:53 pm »
COG-ers, I am looking to put a set of running lights on my 05 Connie with Murphs Tip Over bars.  I live in Northwest Oregon where we often have inclement weather, and we're coming into the "dark months" of the year. I'd like to know what lights and Mounts folks are using and recommend. These are needed especially for cornering in dark and fog. I need to purchase and install soon.

I am no help.   If you move this to the correct area of the forums though someone might know something.  This area is for talking about the web page or forum pages

Here's how I did mine: What have you done to your connie lately
I actually changed the setup from mounting on Murphs bars to higher up on the fairing using some homemade brackets.
I'd sell the bar clamps I'm no longer using if you like. They are virtually new and made by Warn.
The lights themselves are the generic of mondo mm10's. Here's a link to one currently available on eBay. If you search around a bit you can find ones that come with switch and harness.

Mnbikeguy - I'd be interested in the clamps, PM me with price and contact info. Also, what kights did you have attached in your photobucket pic?
