Murph's lights install question
« on: February 05, 2012, 03:04:46 pm »
I am thinking of ordering the $475 headlight kit from Murph this week. I have a question if anyone knows the answer.
What parts of the fairing have to come off to install it? Just the black top sides, or more than that? I hope the whole fairing doesn't need to come off.
I have the lowers off at the moment and I was going to put them back on today.
Thx

I got my answer. Yes, the main fairing has to come off. It was easier than I thought it was going to be, thx to Rick Hall's instructions.

Todd,

you'll find that getting the upper fairing is not that difficult. Just follow the instructions that come with the light kit and you will have no problem at all. Ths install is suprisingly easy.
