Anyone know why Murphs took the rear "disco lights" conversion off his website?    Lewis

I heard that the manufacturer quit making them
Well...even if you fall on your face you're still moving forward.

Are the Disco Lights the one's that make the turn signals red when riding and flash yellow? and are they called by some other name on the site?      Thanks        Jerry

No,  the Disco lights are LED lights installed into the tail light/brake light and they flash in different patterns and are very bright.    The lights you are talking about are here:    http://electricalconnection.com/other-lighting/tsk-std.htm    I think they look like a good idea also.    Lewis

I have both on my Connie and those that have ridden behind me say they notice me.  :)    Also the tail-light kit is very bright and it gets people's attention.  :8o:    Yuma,  Summer in Yuma is not hell, but hell is a local call :-)    2006 Connie

I have the internal LED light kit that Murph used to sell (formerly made by Gizmomill) installed on my 2003 Connie and it works great.  I also have a STOPPER LED strip on the bottom of the license plate frame.  I just got through installing a set of Hyperlite modules on my Wee-Strom and they are very visible.  I got the ones that are running lights and then flash when brake is activated.  If I didn't have the Gizmomill LED Connie brake light, I might see if there was a way to stick the Hyperlite modules inside the housing.  Just an idea.

A poor mans fix is to replace the rear turn signals with the EX500 (ninja 500) front directionals. They have 1157 (two filament bulbs). Wire one filament to the turn signal and the second to the stop lamp. This gives you three stop lights. OR. wire the second filament to the license plate light positive and you now habe three running lights in the back. Either way you'll be more conspicuous.  AKA "2linby" That's 2-lin-by folks!  Northwest Area Director  COG #5539  AMA #927779  IBA #15034  Team Oregon MC Instructor

The EC turn signal conversion works ok. Its nice in that the brake lights and running lights are RED versus YELLOW. And the turn signals are still YELLOW. So it keeps you legal from that point of view.    They worked great at night, but I dont think its as visible in the daylight as I would like. Where Murphs Disco lights were good and visible day or night.     I also notice this has weekend on a COG ride that the hyper lights are pretty noticable too.    For me, I assume when I installed the EC kit I did not get the thing all sealed properly. It was recently pointed out to me the right one was flickering and intermittent. I tore it apart and the whole thing is all corroded. So I am to remove them and not replace it given that I dont ride at night too much and in the day time its not as cool as I would like.     I am going to take the brake light wigwag and wire it to the Givi Integrated brake lights. So no only will it be a kinda of 3rd eye brake light but it will also do the flash thing and then go solid.
