I bought a "nearly new" condition original equipment saddle for my '93 C10, and rode in on it today.  Man, it is way better than the lowered Corbin that came with my bike
(pics of the Corbin are in the Emporium; I figure all of you already know what the stock Kawasaki seat looks like).  I am 6', wear pants with about a 31" inseam, and the Corbin just was
far too low, and pushed me too far forward, making my legs feel cramped.  The standard Kawasaki saddle is, for me, much more comfortable, and lets me move around should I
care to do so.  The only negative is that the additional height has placed me very slightly into the wind turbulence area above my stock windshield (came with a "laminar lip").  I will ride
for a while and then decide if I need to consider a different windshield (there are way too many to choose from, and I have been reasonably satisfied with performance and
protection of the stock windshield before this).  I am enjoying my new-to-me Connie, great for commuting from Berkeley across the San Francisco Bay Bridge.  I still sometimes ride
my KZ750's for variety, and fun.
I have learned so much from the mistakes I have made.  1993 Concours, and three 1980-81 KZ750s.

My bike came with a corbin.  On my first trip my a** got real sore after four days.  I had to steal a hotel towel to sit on for cushion.  Got a stock seat and never looked back.  I weigh 175 pounds so I don't have a lot of built in cushion.

Everyone's tush is different. Me? I wouldn't trade my Corbin for anything. Stock seat was too mushy, and the vinyl just made me sweat and get all squirmy. My Corbin has a nice, large, flat, firm, leather seating area that I can push back in if I want (or not), and I don't sink in to the too soft upholstery of the stock seat. I'm 5-10 with a 32" inseam by the way, so my legs are longer than most folks my height.

I wouldn't trade my Corbin for anything. Stock seat was very painful. I am 6'3" and weigh 230lbs. My bony butt bottomed out on that stock seat. I could not ride for 20 minutes without pain. I tried a Russell Day Long.... sold it and went back to the Corbin.
