Would love to see some pics.

Here it rolls out (never done anything like this before, but this only took me 2 hours)

Haven't remove the protective film on the windshield; will use the alignment on this temporary one get the perfect screw hole to build the thinker (permanent) one.  I won't mind to do some aesthetic sharping/carving at the next stage.

Cheers ~

I made my own for my Rifle, do to breaking to original  :-[  McMaster Carr 24x24 polycarbonate $25, I suggest getting the antistatic one (more $$$)  because the rain STICKS to mine, even though I waxed it.

True.   I now also notice the surface easily attracts more dusts on it then my original one.  Will try some rain repellent products when it comes close to raining season again.  But now it's too hot (temperature) to ride...

By the way, what I have in photo is 12" wide (high); my order was [Polycarbonate Sheets 12"x24", 0.060" thickness].  I have another one with 0.177" thickness.
It causes lots of wind noise after 55mph.  Need to make a different one.  Definitely higher than 12", but I do want to see "above" it, instead of "through" it this time.  Feel good to try different mods without thinking about sinking costs on branding products.

KL make sure you use a rain repellent made for polycarb, rainx is not polycarb friendly. I use pledge seems to work good.

I have not ordered any of this - YET - but many riders on several boards like this product.

Sounds like it might be just what we need for the windshields and visors.
Since then, I spray lemon Pledge on the shield and visor.
Works ok, cleans the shield and smells "purty". Unfortunately it attracts bees.
I've used Rain-x occasionally but I was told it was not good to use on plastic. This is designed for plastic.

Ride safe, Ted
