Wiring for Dual HID from Murph's...lost
« on: January 20, 2012, 06:50:30 am »
Or at least not driving in it...

Finally after getting the dual  headlight system in w/ regular H9 bulbs, I was able to drive the night. WOW what a difference!!! I can see more than 30' in front of me clearly. Lows I see a good 120', His about 3/4 of a mile!! On a 2 lane road, visibility is great on the sides of the road too, road signs are very well lit up. And the ditches are lit well too...now I can see the coyotes long before I come up on them. I notice it lit animals eyes up better too...which is a huge plus.

The HID low and Xenon Hi should be here this weekend. Looking forward to it. If you need better lighting, get this kit....well worth it if you ride a bit at night.

 AWESOME...THANKS Steve!!!!

I agree in having the best lighting you can have. But I still avoid riding in the dark if at all possible. The odds of danger and troubles go up in the dark. No matter how much light you have, you can never see as good as in the day light. But I do have better headlights when possible when the need arises to have to ride in the dark.

« Reply #2 on: January 25, 2012, 12:00:06 am »
OK, On Murph's Dual light system, My HID is in, and I want to wire the HID to stay on ALL the time, and the Hi/Lo switch to only control the HI beam.

Any wiring experts know how to make that happen with the dual relay system?? THANKS in advance.
