WTB C10 luggage rack or trunk
« on: June 01, 2018, 12:30:40 am »
Hello All.
I am new to COG. I am struggling with the Forum message service.
   Not really computer savvy

I put this subject up once, but not sure where it.

I recently bought an 06 Concours
I have the OEM back rest / bar.
I need to buy a luggage rack, or possibly a trunk, for a 2006 C10.
Planning cross country trip leaving June 30th.

Please PM or email me.

Thanks and Best Regards

It was probably moved to the C10 emporium section further down the forum.
Actually this looks like it. http://forum.cog-online.org/c-10-emporium/wtb-or-trade-for-rear-luggage-rack/

I still have a Kawasaki back rack and stock seat with the rear half
cut down flat. I believe they line up and provide a larger flat surface.
$200 and I will get both to you . You can PM me by clicking on my
name, I think.

I have the factory backrest and rack. I've mounted a Givi 54L ? trunk and it works well. The rack has a weight limitation sticker of about 10 pounds which I've use tested to about 35 pounds. There's really nothing to break, the strict weight limit must be for handling or safety issues. Why even have a rack if the weight it can bear is only 10 pounds?
I'm not sure that Givi still makes the large top case I have - it is big and can hold two full face helmets easily.
