WTB...Can you help me out?
« on: July 03, 2012, 03:04:08 pm »
Ok, I have a 99 C10 with the stock bags..the latch/lock on the front of the left side bag and about 2/3 of the way down from the top of the bag is bent and I can not fix it..I am hoping someone has one in good shape and can sell it to me...Mine has the A key, but any key would be fine..(It looks like this is identical to the one on the right side bag but am not sure.)...

Trying here beford going to the dealer for an OEM one....tried Ebay with no luck..

Thank you.

Thanks, John  for willingness to look around to see if you a lock.

Also, to anyone, I would consider buying a stock saddlebag WITH the lock that holds it to the frame if you have one.

Many thanks.

If the latch for the frame mount is a stumbling block, you can drill and bolt it on like the attached pics.

You need the lock that holds the bag to the antler? I have 2 that are "B" keys, if you like $10 +shipping.

BTW Bob, I shipped those this afternoon. USPS says they should be there on Monday. Sorry about the packing, I wasn't smart enough to bring bubble wrap w/me to the PO (what the kids haven't "popped" anyways).

Enjoy,
Tim
