2010 factory heated grips on 2009 model
«

Hello,
I am considering installing heated grips on my 2009 C14, and would like to know if any of you guys have been able to install the factory heated grips from 2010 and up on a 2009 model.
Any input is much appreciated!

Yes, you can do it but it will cost about $350 and the controller nob will not sit
right
on the left top panel because it won't have that built in notched area and therefor stick up about 1/4" and look kinda goofy IMO...
You're better off going with a set of Hotgrips at 1/3 the cost, again just IMO, but that's the route I went...

Just get a set of Symtec heaters and an installed heat troller.... Much cheaper

You only need two tools in life – WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape.

I also agree. Go with an aftermarket set. There are multiple choices out there. And depending on what you choose, you can use more comfortable grips as well. And all will be probably easier and more cost effective than adapting OEM heated grips to the Gen I C14. Just my two cents.
