Adding another accessory socket
« on: August 26, 2011, 08:23:36 am »
Anyone have  how-to instructions for adding another socket for electrical accessories to the C14 2008?
I use the one I have for the GPD and want to add other things too.
Thanks
raanan

I guess it depends what you want to use and where you want to install it. What exactly do you want to do. Just add an accessory socket, and that's it? Or more? The 08 has a 10 amp circuit for accessories on the bike from the factory. You could tap into that, or run your own circuit with fuse and accessory fuse panel to also use other farkles. What do you have in mind?

5 amps on the 10's & 11's.  On the 08's & 09's it is 10 amps.

Anyway, found out that for 4-5$ I can get a 1-3 outlet splitter. No need to drill or cut anything...
