Almost finished my "farkling"!
« on: May 27, 2013, 01:55:20 am »
Over the last few months I've added a Corbin seat, AST pullback risers, a Kawi 47L top case (all 3 items purchased used and mint :great:)...installed Phil's rack, and today installed 3M film and a CB Euro-cut shield.  Test rode the shield...it gets high marks!!  I'm 5'11" and it puts the air up over my helmet and I'm in a pocket where I can actually hear the engine at 70 mph!!  I should add that it does put a slight "push" on my back and the back of my helmet, but not enough to bother me.  The smoother airflow is well worth it! btw it still allows lots of airflow on my torso and face when lowered, and I`m still looking over it when fully raised.

These add-ons have pretty much made the bike perfect for me!  I have to install my new rad guard, and I'm searching for the MCE Canyon Cages (hoping to find used).  Now I can barely wait for the trip I`ve planned for early July!!

I just LOVE THIS BIKE!!  :beerchug:

Ok, an update.  Ordered the MC Enterprises Canyon cages and back-ordered the saddlebag guards.  Ordered an HID kit from A and R...never had the plastic off, so I sure hope I don't regret this one... New Multitec, Teknic Freeway, Teknic Supervent Mesh jacket and pants (great closeout deals on Teknic gear btw...), and finally Held Steve Classic gloves (named after me; gotta have 'em  :great: ).

Farkling is fun!   :1rij: ......

AND.. I made it past my 21st anniversary on Thursday!

SS, you are gonna love the HID's. I put them in recently, and they are awesome, especially at night. As a side, the new headlights seem to inspire people to move out of the left hand lane a bit more readily. I then put in the ViziTech brake light modulator a couple of days ago...gotta make the cagers see us a bit better ya know.
