JTX,
I saw, I'm JEALOUS as hell. Maybe someday. Still looking hard at a KTM 690 though. Ill see about the pics of the mounts here this afternoon. As for the videos check out my YouTube channel. These were all using the left side mirror mount.

AH yes, those look good.  But, my mirrors are 'full' so I cant mount anything else there.

There may be some room near the LEDs to stick a mount to the bodywork though.

Maybe the shorter RAM mount on the bar clamp will work.

JTX,
The body mount will work in your situation and the video quality is just as good. Mounts the camera a few inches lower thats all. The mount is attached to the lowest part of the upper fairing where the mounting screws are for more rigidity.

JT,
The camera mount would be in front of the deflectors.

I've seen similar things.  But a new gopro4 is $400+. I'm using the original Hero HD camera.  So this is not a bad idea for my application depending on what it needs.  THanks!

DVR is not water resistant/proof which is a big negative. :(   If anyone has one installed and had posted a thread, post up a link.

I used the contour roam several times on trips of both the super Tenere and the fjr ( going to use them now on the concours). Always mounted to crash bars on the bikes and on the right side of the helmet.   Stupid simple to use ( just my speed ;).  Work well and easy to download .   One wipe switch to worry about for on/off.  Tried the GoPro and just wasn't as happy with any of the models I tried .

Never confuse getting lucky with good tactics......unless you're at the bar?

The Garmin Virb and use the stick mount on the mirror - I still use a small tag line as in the Appalachians you have to take the gravel roads sometimes

This method has worked good for me.

Just tried this and will need longer mount for 2010 and up...
