area p full system vs v and h cs1slip on
« on: November 05, 2012, 12:50:27 pm »
Hi I'm considering purchasing an exhaust and wondering about the issues that come with it. Do I need a pc5 just for the slip ons? Performance gains? Popping on downshift? Where to buy for best deal? I came off a 09 Hayabusa  with a r77 full system and I liked that for comparison.  In the past I had a zx-11 with a full Muzzy and thought it was a bit loud. Thanks in advance for the help.

You don't need a pc5 for just adding a slip on. Also other than a pc5, the ECU can be reflashed.

A full system will out perform a slip on.

Popping - well ... most likely, but there is also a fix for that too.

And just so that you know ..... an aftermarket ZX14 exhaust will also bolt up the the C14 (with a small mid pipe tweek, center stand tweek and muffler hanger beaket tweek), so you could install the R77 full system (this is what I'm wanting to do).  :motonoises: :great:
