I just got a Sargent seat for my '10 C14 and it is noticably lower than my stock seat.  I ordered 'regular' and am in the process of determining if I got 'Low' by mistake but I don't think so.  Anyway, find a bike and try one.  If you're going to VT next week, you can try mine.    Also, MCL had my seat in stock.  Don't know if they have the 'low' seat though.  Only downside to MCL is that they weren't playing the '30 days' game (I called) but delivery was prompt and price was right.  After a few days of <2 hour riding, very please.  Trip to VT will be the real test. :)

I have a new Sargent seat for my 09 Connie C14 that I might sell.  It's a great seat, but just doesn't fit me the way I would like for   long hauls.  Let me know if you are interested.  Price is $300.    Does anyone have a stock C14 seat they want to get rid of?  I need the frame to have a new seat custom made.      You can e-mail me at brgenck@qwestoffice.net.    Thanks!    brgenck

Be careful.  The low Sargent seat only has an inch of foam.  It will feel like  a rock in 50 miles.  The regular one has 3 inches of firmer foam.  Much  better for the back side.    brgenck

So, if I'm understanding the information on this thread, no one is satisfied with a Corbin or Sargent seat on their C14.  Correct?  Is that to say there just isn't enough of a difference from the stock seat?

Both Sargent and Corbin (I have both) are far superior to stock IMHO but YMMV.  Neither, however is perfect re: riding position.  For me, and me only, the Sgt is a little too low and the Crbn sits a little too far back. If I was 20 and fit, stock might be just fine and forming the opinion that the old folks are just too fussy.    IMHO, the foam in the stock is way too soft.  Sits well at first then...  Also, forward lean is too severe for my taste. :)

I have over 4,000 miles on the Kawasaki low-gel seat and like it.  I did a 670 mile day and the butt was ready to get off.  I like the swade (do we have spell check?)like surface.  If you scoot back you stay there.  Rick
