Since you are in the Northwest, have you considered a Rich's Custom?  You get a seat custom made to fit you.  I had him make me a slightly lowered seat with a gel insert and covered with leather.  You go there and spend the day, and leave with a seat that fits you perfectly. Not the cheapest option, but well worth the price.

I really wanted to go with Rich too - he is not far away, but $700.00 was just too much.

A friend of mine just found a guy in the Edgewood area who trained Rich.  He is also extremely reasonable based on the quote he provided for a Victory Cross County seat build including a custom sheepskin.  After my friend has his seat done I will report back.  It could be a couple of months as he is looking to have the seat done prior to a summer trip.

In the end... I have purchased the Corbin seat I found for $255.  I decided it was a deal I couldn't pass up.  I then intend to have the factory seat sent either to Loren or Seth or the aforementioned upholsterer to be rebuilt and add heat!
