I have never liked the stock exhaust before.  It looks like a big potato launcher.   I have heard some guys riding with the full muzzy system installed....... Sounds great, looks awesome even with bags off.

ZG, thanks.

The previous owner had this installed so I'm glad I asked.

Couple other questions.

Center stand, my bike does not have.  Saw that Muzzy has a "modified" stand. Is that what you have or can you describe what is different?

Your bike has an interesting rear storage/back rest piece.  Where did that come from?

Call up muzzy and let them know you want them to modify your current center stand.  You just mail it in, they modify it and repaint it for you and then send it back.. I believe the cost is like around $140.00.

I also have an 08 with the full Muzzy and Power Commander along with ZX14 Throttle Bodies...  The thing is awesome!!  But to pay $140 for a modified center stand is crazy.  Come on it is a little cutting and welding Should be more reasonably priced especially after the customer just dropped over a grand with you.  That is the one thing I don't like about Muzzy... They are a little to proud of their stuff.

Since previous owner tossed out the original enter stand I picked up one off eBay for $25.  Looking at that stand it looks like (technical term) the part where you lower with the foot needs to be modified vs the stand itself due to the LH pipe.

Anybody got a good picture of the modified stand.  I agree it seems like an easy weld job!

I forgot to mention that plugging that air line did wonders, still a little gurggle but nothing like before.

I think the center stand is modified as I thought, the foot pedal.

I'll have to look around for some tubing but think I'll give it a try.  I'll be sure to document this for a future post.

I have the dual carbon Muzzy and Muzzy center stand.  I also have the Power Commander with auto tune o2 controller and Block off plates.  I love the sound and I average about 43mpg.  Every now and then after decelerating from heavy throttle I get a small backfire.  Other then that I've got no complaints.
