Flashing fog light mounts
« on: December 21, 2018, 02:47:27 pm »
Anyone know where I can get the flashing light mounts the police use under their mirrors and in the rear near the reflectors?

Just a comment, any flashing light on a moving vehicle, excluding hazards & turning light
are prohibited by federal motor vehicle code. Unless on an emergency vehicle.
Before you say it, head light modulators do not flash the head light. The low beam stays
on all the time, the high beam flashes. This is per the federal code.
Just saying.

I went the DIY route as MtnRider posted. Originally was going to go with the PCA mounts but wanted to save some coin. Here's a link to the PCA mounts.

As for the rear, there are a couple good companies and aftermarket products. Hyperlites are what I used which works well with the brakes...

I’m looking for something a bit lower profile, perhaps some smaller, 1/2”ish LEDs down lower near or on the fork. But I’d want the color temp to match or be close to that of the headlights.
