Fuel Tank gel pad (crotch area)
« on: June 30, 2017, 07:24:52 am »
I've searched. I can't seem to find any info regarding soft gel tank pad that could be installed where seat meets the tank to increase comfort.
C14 has factory tank pad but it does nothing to make your plums feel more comfortable when pressed against it.

Has anyone an idea where such pads can be found?

Found this little pad 2x5 with sticky base.
Will see if it'll alleviate sore plums I've been getting.  :)

Some here are so old, they are more like raisins, so not an issue.

I will say however, having this custom seat made for my '05 ZX-10 with a PRT (perineum relief trench) has made all day rides on it more bearable!

Ive riden 12-14 c14 and then got 16 c14. i've found 16 c14 seat more comfortable.
It just so happens my plums press against the tank when I ride in a relaxed position.
Some here are so old, they are more like raisins, so not an issue.
  :rotflmao:
I will also get side pads to get my knees more traction when I squeeze the tank during spirited ride.

Cheers...

Rich and Petr, please check rule 4 in the posting rules and fix  your responses accordingly.  It was so nice not having any bickering or reported threads for a couple of days.
