Garmin Custom Handle Bar Mount
« on: June 07, 2018, 12:34:28 am »
I recently aquired a Garmin for my scooter. I didn't like the mounting system, so I made my own.

Black PVC is pretty handy stuff and easy to work with power saw and file, and it's already black! Added a second 12V charge port.
It just slides down onto the bars and held in place with two tiewraps. I may try another version with built in charge port, flashlight, maybe even an expresso machine.

I like it.  :great:

did you loose the file before mounting it?  Looks like you harnessed a rabid Badger to gnaw out those nooks n crannies......

needs more ductape, a few tie wraps, and some JB Weld..... :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

just kidding....
duct tape will work...

Great Idea  Thinking out of the Box :beerchug:
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover – Mark Twain.

It's a hit here at the National, where the "real" men and women hang out. ;)
I may patent it.
