Jay, you could use your bike to introduce the Ducks football team instead of the Hardley they use now.   :))

I'm wanting something a little more permanent SB, the gold wheels are for the 3rd bodywork set that is gonna be a matte black with a pearl, something to add just a little bling to it...  :great:

Matt black?  That could be cool.  The orange color I mentioned awhile back is a Nissan color, called Volcanic Orange.  Check it out.

I just picked the wheels up from the plating shop...  :)

This color is just wow IMO!  :-\

Due to the process for plating the electroless nickel and then the yellow zinc over top of that it has a total pearl effect to it, as you walk around them or the light or sun hits them at different angles they show signs/hints of blue, green, red, etc...  :great:

Well I think I'm probably the only one that's done this, so at least it's unique eh.  :) ;)

What do you guys think?

Out in the sun they really pop!  ;D

So Jay, Your plan would be to mount a new set of tires and transponders for these wheels as to ease the color swap?

They'll have their own bearing's and brake rotors (gold EBC's) on em but I'll swap the TPS and rubber...

I think that you should buy the colored tires as well. Why not, there's not much left to spend money on that you haven't thought of.  ::)

Great idea.

The gold looks amazing, that against a satin black bike would be spectacular.

I don't see any bikes in that pic SM...  :) >:D

Agreed brother, the black bodywork for these wheels is actually gonna be a matte finish with a pearl in it, not a satin, but either way I hope they add a little bling to the subtle matte finish of the bodywork, my goal is to have them complement the gold of the Ohlins.  :great:
