So Jay, Your plan would be to mount a new set of tires and transponders for these wheels as to ease the color swap?

They'll have their own bearing's and brake rotors (gold EBC's) on em but I'll swap the TPS and rubber...

So now you are going cheap on us? What happened? Did you finally hit the fabric in the bottom of those deep pockets?

..but seriously (I can't believe MikeP and I just used that word in a ZG thread :D ) the Ohlins will need to be removed and made to match.

Nice wheels ZG!

Well I did think about it FM, but opted to just use the current TPS since they are covered by warranty for many years to come and can be replaced for free...  ;) :)

What a great job on those rims! I don't know about how they'll be on the new set of bodywork, but I know they'll be amazing with the green set! Kawasaki used gold rims on the Eddie Lawson replica models in 82, 83, and 84 to commemorate their racing success. Another home run ZG! :great:

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like!  :great: :beerchug:

Ya, I did these wheels to go with the matte black bodywork, but I'm very intrigued lately to try em out with the green bodywork now too...  >:D

Not sure if it would be too much bling for the green though, but that Lawson pic has me thinking I should give it a shot, I can always take them back off if it doesn't look good. ???

Hoarding spare oil filters, fuses, and spark plugs for your C14 is one thing... but hoarding spare sets of Ohlins forks, complete/custom painted bodywork sets, and sweet a$$ pimpin' wheel sets is taking it to a whole 'nother level!!! You should to be on that TV show "Hoarders" to deal with you illness Jay- :)) :beerchug:
