Brembo brake pads and rotors - review
« on: December 22, 2013, 06:09:09 pm »
I'm yet another person with warped front rotors (2008).  I gave PJ at PJ's parts a call, he's been great to deal with for years, and he recommended I try the Brembo track pads and rotors.  The track compound is just like HH, so they aren't track/competition pads and don't squeal.  I had EBC HH and while they are great pads, I wanted more initial torque/bite.

The Brembo pads rock.  I have them on my C-14 and FZ1.  I can't comment on other pads besides stock, EBC HH, and the Brembo's, but I liked the Brembo's the best.  Great bite and they hold a constant feel.

The stock rotors, surprise, warped on heavy 2-up riding and I got the Brembo rotors as well.  The brand speaks for itself and they were relatively cheap for what I've seen for replacement rotors.

So, great all around.  My brake lever no longer sinks to the grip because the rotors are messed up.  Just some more info for those who are looking for options on pads/rotors.
