156 Miles the first day. But it wa snowing on and off here in Southeast Michigan, so I hope everyone cuts me a little slack. First impressions in one word?
WOW!! what a bike! This is by far the fastest and nicest bike I've ever ridden. Even with keeping her at 4k or below the performance was exhillerating. Steering felt great. Shifting was great. Brakes are outstanding. Balance and feel top notch. Rode around downriver for a while then jumped on I75 south and got off south of Monroe and just cruised some country roads. Had not idea where I was going. I didn't care. It was just so great to finally ride my Connie, the girl of my dreams (sorry honey). After less than 5 minutes after leaving the dealership I knew I had made the right decision in purchasing a Connie. THERE WAS NO BUYER REMORSE WHATSOEVER!! Nor will there ever be. I'm hooked. I'm in love.
What I didn't like: Seat pushes you into tank too much. A Laam redo will take care of that. Too much pressure on hands. AST pullback risers are on their way! Thanks Nando!
If anyone is on the fence about Buying a Concours 14, I urge you in the strongest terms possible to go ahead and take the plunge. I just can't tell you how happy I am to finally have my baby home with me. It is a great bike. maybe the bike mags say the bmw 1600 is better but it sure ain't $14000 better. That's an awful lot of farkling to get the bike perfect for me and a few thou left over for gas. Connies Rule!!

Yeah I know I promised pics but it's stinking snowing again today. supposed to be in mid 40's tomorrow so I'll pull her out and take some shots in the morning. Just have to make sure I take the pics for I go out for a run otherwise I might not ever get to it!!

This bike is some serious fun. Now if it would just warm up a little bit.
