Hi guys,

Just emailed http://www.bygdawg.com/ and the Concours tip over gear is now available.  I'm waiting for a price now. Does anyone have this yet? Anyone interested in a group purchase? Who organizes them here and how does that work?

John I 'Think" you could organize it since you contacted them first, but PM one of the mod to make doulbe sure.
And yes I'll be interested in them too.

UPDATE

Got an Email back from Jay and these bars are solid steal. Not hollow like other bars. They also do NOT require any modification to bike like picture suggest. These mount right on. He quoted me $650 for the set (bag, fairing) delivered. Is anyone else interested in these? If so I will reach out and push for a group buy.

I asked for a PDF of mounting instructions...

I'd be interested in them if they were about half that price...expensive!!

Compared to having to buy a new side case and/or new fairing pieces (including inside and decals etc.) they are cheap.

The bag part is passable, but the fairing side looks like a**. I'd probably rather pay for new plastic than have that abomination on my bike.

Well, I like these the best myself and at the moment money is tight but at the same time I really need to mount some protection onto my bike so if I can get enough interest it sounds like Jay might be willing to discount for a group buy.

I'm curious what they weigh...jeeze louise, the MCE canyon bars are heavy....  and tube steel has a huge amount of strength...look at the arch.

I'll stick with the canyon cages. They look better and are certainly lighter. Weight is already an issue for the Connie. The rear bag guards appear to be the same as MCE bars anyway.

Are there other pictures other than the website? because the one's on the website look exactly like the police bars that MCE makes. Looks like a rip off.

Since there is little interest in this product at this time I'm going to withdraw my attempt to establish a group buy.

I still recommend the MC Enterprises "Canyon Cage" for the front. They look good, and if you get it in a color close to your bike, blend in nicely.

And based on the pictures posted here of the fellow who low sided its pretty clear the Canyon Cages work as advertised.

I have both the Canyon Cages on mine, and MCE's small rear bag guard bars in the back, and they look great. When I dropped mine at 0 mph I only had the rear guards on and they protected my side-cases 100%, saving me tons of money.

As far as I am concerned, my MCE bars have already paid for themselves.
