I had one for a while. It is a bit lower than stock which I liked. It looked great. It was good for short rides. The wife didn't care for it as the passenger section is quite a bit narrower than the stock seat. The gel seat is also much harder than stock. I ended up selling it. Now I have a Sargent low seat, both the wife and I are happy :)

I have the Kawi Low gel seat and both myself and passenger love it. Initially it feels firmer than a stock seat, but the contour is 87 times better. The Low factor in it helps angle your butt/hips for a more upright seating position compared to the leaning forward angle on the stock seat. Overall it contributes to less stress on your guy parts, less stress on your inner thighs, and more support for your butt. My first day on my Connie I rode it over 250 miles and felt great. I rode a stock Connie beforehand and after just a few minutes noticed some annoyances with the stock seat.

My wife can't compare stock vs Kawi Low Gel because she's only ridden on our bike with the gel seat. She loves the seat as well. She says it's wide and supportive with no pressure points for her sitting position. She likes the comfort on this bike enough that she's considering taking the bike from Kansas City to San Antonio with me in the fall. I imagine the rear on the seat has to be comfortable if she'd agree to that!

I have a gel seat for touring and a zx14 stock seat for around town and short rides.  The gel seat is definitely firmer, but that is not necessarily a bad thing.  Soft seats can allow your butt to sink too much into the foam and might create pressure points where there are not supposed to be.  I agree the gel seat contour is great - wide, flat and along with the grippy surface keeps me from sliding into the tank.

That said, I would only buy it if you need a lower seat.  If you are tall enough to be able to flat foot with the stock seat and want better seat, I would say go aftermarket.

Hi:

I had my 2012 Concours seat modified after some soreness after some all day rides.  The guy does the work down in Florida and I mailed him my sent.  His prices are very reasonable.  Here is his website so that you can check it out.  www.GreatDayToRide.com  His email address for questions is Spencersmotocare@aol.com  My seat is much better after the modification and a tad lower.

It's a Kawasaki Accessory for the C14. You should be able to order one from your dealer. You can also find them from time to time on places like ebay.

I had one on my ZX14 and loved it. I took it off when I traded the ZX14 in on the C14.

Of course, when I got the Baldwin GT I sold every other seat I had.  :motonoises:

That would be about the most expensive seat known to man!
Seriously - if you're willing to go "there", get a custom seat made....  Just sayin'

BUT - I will say this: the stock seat does break-in somewhat.  If you sit more forward (almost touching the tank), it's a pretty good angle if you're not using risers.  You need to take it all into account...if you want to sit up more vertically, the stock seat will never work out for you because you're putting undo pressure on your tailbone.
