Bike: 2012 C14
MCE Canyon Cage
MCE Rear Bars

Downhill steep 90 degree off camber gravelly turn in motel parking lot. 2 mph, clutch in friction zone, creeping. Wheel is turned. Stupid out of practice rider stalls instead on increasing revs.  Bike drops hard on right side and slide a few feet downhill.

Damage? Rider pride mostly, MCE bars scratched where they slid. Bike, nothing. Not a scratch. Denali D2 lights down low at front axle, no contact.

Rear cases, not even touched.

MCE has my profound respect for an awesome product. Spray paint scratch on bars versus thousands for the right side of the bike.

Thats good to hear, before I bought mine I read many stories just like that. A deer bounced off mine months ago in California, did get the lower black plastic body panel but the right front bar took most of the hit. I know they were not thinking of THAT when they made them. But I sure am lucky they were there. :motonoises:

JR, good to hear!  Mine saved my Connie last Friday.  At a standstill pillion shifted her weight and over we went.  All plastic spotless.  These things are handy once you get past the install issues.
