I have pretty much the same seat and the same tip toe dance but I prefer it that way.  I much prefer the taller position with less knee bend to being flat footed at a stop.  Another great aspect of this seat is the way I can cozy up to the tank and have essentially a narrow seat in twisties  :motonoises: and sit back in more comfort when the riding gets a little less exciting.  This is a very, very nice seat. :beerchug:

Don't mind not flat footing when riding solo, but with the wife on back, not so much.
