So Fred:
Having the hwy. pegs since Oct. 2010. How are you liking them? Any other information you might want to pass along to the rest of us.? How is the finish holding up, how is the comfort on long trips, any improvements that you can think of???

Just making a observation of how well people like the products provided to them.  I have contacted Ronnie and Sandy and were really impressed with our conversation. They are not set up for cc or paypal yet but they sound excited about their product. I will be ordering a set in a couple of weeks (I spent all my money on murphs risers and a back rest)
Please update us on your thoughts.
Thanks from all of us.

I guess we are not suppose to have any further thoughts on the long term usage/comfort of the hwy. pegs.:34:

Anyone else feel this way? :34:

Sorry, I've been sidetracked on other issues.

The highway pegs are holding up just fine. No problems with them of any sort, and yes they do come in handy on long trips. Sometimes I wish they were a little further forward, but they really can't be due to the design of the bike, so I don't fault the pegs for that. They also work fine with my new Top Block tip over protection and don't interfere with it at all.

I have the new design that Ronnie made on my 2010 C14.  Look good, work as described and I'm happy.  Excellent quality, good photos of installation, too.

No problems in the twisties either.  I don't drag them even with aggressive riding.  They give a different seating position, too, when you use them.  Rotates your butt back a bit and less pressure on the 'sitz bones'.

I don't use them on every ride, but I think if you spend some time in the saddle, your seating postion will be favorably changed with Ronnie's Highway Pegs.  Gives you a different foot placement for a rest of some sort.

Just my opinion.

I am very pleased with Ronnie's HWY pegs on my 2010 Connie. They really are nicely made and comfy to use. I thought of putting a slip on piece of foam over the pegs
for calf resting, but I rethought that as a good way to lose or mangle a foot since the pegs fold up (90 degrees) instead of back and up(45 degrees). I still use them for
a momentary calf rest but only when I have a very clear view of the road to insure it is free of large truck tire pieces and other debris.
I tried to email/talk Ronnie into making tip over protection too (ala Top Block) but he tactfully ignored me. (so far)  :(

I installed a set today on my 08 and WOW.

If price is of concern you will get over that the second you see the craftsmanship that went into every aspect of the pegs.   Very clean design and no corners cut anywhere.   Instructions and color photos made the install a snap.   Took me a total of 1.5 hours to install.   Cant wait to try them out on our Grand Canyon trip at the end of the month.

GREAT JOB RONNIE.

You could just look in the "Concours14 Farkle (Accessories) vendor directory",  under "foot pegs - Highway pegs".    ;)

Are they still only taking cash/check?  Or are they accepting Paypal now?? (Believe it or not since I went to electronic banking, i actually don't know where my checkbook is LOL)
You only need two tools in life – WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape.

As far as I know he is. Try contacting him to verify for us. He is listed in the farkle directory. Although he may be at the national right now.

Can we assume they would fit the 2012 as well?  This looks very interesting to be able get a little relief. I have had about 12 knee operations from past football playing days and stretching them out would be good.

IIRC, there is a difference between the Gen I and Gen II C14's because of the different fairings. But that should be it. So you must tell Ronnie the year of the bike (08-09 or 2010+)

No difference, same pegs.  Only the pegs will not work with Canyon Cages on a Gen 1.

Best mod I have on my bike.
