I am new and didn't even know there was a COG store. I was wondering if enough orders were put together if a discount could be arranged and also savings on the shipment. I guess that would be a group buy.  ::)

Well actually, forum only memebrs wouldn't see the COG store. The COG store is located in the COG member section of COG on-line. But it's only available to COG (the club) members. Again it has to do with the not for profit statis. It's one of the perks of being an actual COG member over  a forum only member. If your not an actual COG member. Maybe it's time to take another look at the benifits of becoming a full member. You might be surprised.  ;)

I'm game.  I think the blade style would be better than the plug style if there's any forward motion when it hits.

If I understand the tax law correctly COG could do a group buy. It has nothing to do with being not for profit.  But any group buy benefit would have to be done for members only to maintain a distinction of services of "members" according to IRS rules for 501(c)(7).

Aren't those the same as the top block sliders?
You only need two tools in life – WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape.

Has anyone seen these?  Rather large and "police like" heheheehe,  but they look as if they would easily do the job.

No idea as to the cost.

Mad River - yes, that's what we're discussing for the group purchase.

OK, personal opinion here ..... those are pitifully ugly. They may have form and function on police bike, but the designer was going strictly for protection and cosmetics were not a consideration at all. I can hear the boss man now "I want the bike protected, I dont give a damn what they look like!"

Talked to a local motor cop yesterday that has those bars on the C14 he rides, He said he laid the bike down on the right side and no damage other than a few scratches on the bars. The black ones look better and you can touch up any scratches you might get.
