Passenger Lowering Pegs and/or floorboards
« on: August 05, 2019, 11:53:26 pm »
Several years ago, I changed out the C14 passenger pegs with C10 pegs.  Big difference for my wife's comfort.

Last trip, my 5'4" petite wife felt the knee bend position uncomfortable.

I want lowered C10 pegs at least an inch - or lowered mini floor boards by at least an inch.

We do sometimes use the bags so they need to fit on.  I do not want to spend anywhere near $200.  I want it to look good.  I am ONLY talking about the passenger pegs.

Do I have options for all these things I want?  So demanding, right?

Hi guys.  No luck with anything store bought to lower the passenger pegs?

I purchased the lowering brackets from Projekt D and mini floorboard w/ hardware from Kuryakn. They not only provided a lower and larger platform for my 5' 4" wife (as well) to get on/off bike, more comfortable in the long haul. Only con (for me) is they do not flip up when not in use, but I don't really care. Let me know if interested and I can provide you the part numbers for the components. Was not expensive IMO.

Here ya go:
*  Kuryakyn Spear Mini Boards black (no adapters) - P/N 5653
*  Kuryakyn Splined Peg Adapters for Kawasaki - P/N 8813
*  Projekt D, Kawasaki Concours 14 Passenger Footpeg Lowering Brackets - P/N 115-01
*  + 2 thick nylon washer to keep the floorboard from rattling

Provides a very nice mini-passenger floorboard setup for your lady on a C14. PM me if you want to see some pics too. I've not learned how to post pics here.
