Pre-made wiring harness
« on: December 18, 2015, 06:52:43 pm »
Ok, have struck out so far......

Ok, this is a shot in the dark (maybe a pun in there somewhere), but I need to find\buy a pre-made wire harness....

I'm looking for a harness to mount 2 LED lights to my police style tip over bars. I want to have it turn on when the bike starts with the main headlight. I want it to turn off when I hit my high beam switch (to be DOHTS compliant). It would need to connect into Connie power and have whatever accessible fuse and transistor\transformer necessary. Does such a pre-made harness exist?????

It is called a relay harness. However, your best bet is to make one that fits your bike. Most remade harnesses are for cars and will be far too long for a bike. You can make one for less than 15.00.

Wiring diagrams for this typer of harness are all over this forum and the web.

Murph sells the relay - you need to wire it in and provide the switch.
