Thanks all.  Sounds great.
As I sed;  MURPH is the man that made it happen.

To make it fit right...
Work on it awhile, then {when you see red} walk away, cuss me (err Murph) and think about it awhile.  >:D
Repeat this process {particularly the Murph part} until ya get-er-dun.........

So, I haven't seen anyone post on their installation yet so I thought I would. See Pics.  Nice looking and super-easy to install.

I was thinking it would "hug" the tire more than it appears to.
Does appear there is plenty of clearance, though.

Nice Moondust Gray, I must add!

i have mine set lower than that but as long as there is enough clearance at the front it will be good

I'm waiting for the truck to deliver my suspension so...I guess I'll mount mine whilst I wait

So...I added an extra M6 nut/washer to the rear brake hose clip bolt to back-up the M6 fiberlock (tighten nut until it pinches bracket)!
And it has some adjustment and it's actually very rigid
I like it a lot!

Check the clearance of the lower edge of the fender to the tire, it is likely to be really close with that much at the top. I noticed that as you adjust the clearance to tire the fender Teeter totters from the mounts, otherwise as clearance increases at one end it decreases at the other.

There seems to be adequate clearance all the way around... with the welded bracket (right) and the left bracket, there really isn't much adjustment to be had (or needed). In fact, upon closer inspection, the swingarm prevents much "rocking" of the hugger - it's snug against the swingarm so not more adjustment to be done - it just fits.

Ids anyone else interested in getting one of the Hugger Fenders?
I'm sure Murph still has some.

So there was some sort of mixup on my order and it didn’t get shipped with the others, but I contacted them and they sent it out right away. The only question I have, for those guys that ordered one was there supposed to be some sort of brackets with this thing? All I have is the fender. I’m looking in the photos and I’m seeing metal brackets for attaching to the bike. I don’t have those if they were supposed to be included.

Did you order from Murph's Kits?
Yes it comes with all needed hardware. If you ordered from Murph's give them a call their customer service is excellent.

I reached out and they got back to me already. They’re sending the missing parts out Monday.

My Hugger is the Skidmarx. I rode the bike to Weymouth back in 2008 so they could measure my bike and take photos. I got a hefty discount when they delivered it and about the only complaint is the brackets could do with better quality powdercoating. I later organised a 21 units group purchase for the French GTR club GTRMANIA. Drove the car to Rouen in France with their Huggers and had a fun afternoon eating chatting and fitting Huggers. If you phone Skidmarx they will arrange a VAT free group buy shipped to the USA. Just remember we are on GMT/UTC here when you phone.

I dont remember having to do this for the hugger, but I do remember taking the pipe off for something......Maybe it was!

The good news is, the rear wheel comes off without having to remove the hugger.

I've had mine installed for several years and it's never moved, budged or needed adjustment or service.

That is what happened here a group buy through Murph's Kits and now we have a states side supply that saves a ton on shipping. I believe it was a win all around. BTW thanks for being the original model bike... :) :beerchug: :)

I have an Aww Sxxx to report.
I've had a hugger on my bike since 2014.
Liked it and will get another.

I had 1 incident 3 years ago; I picked up a rock and it wedged between the fender and the tire.
Wasn't a problem, just stopped and removed the rock. (But it slightly damaged the fender)

Now to the AS:
At the Sport Touring School in Jennings, my Hugger was torn from my bike while riding.
I want everyone to know "it was a "pucker" moment"!!  :-\
ie; I was in a turn after a fast straightaway..  :motonoises:

I recovered the fender and don't see where anything failed to cause the problem.
The fender appears to have been torn from the bike.
I think it was caused by the 55 series tire, high speed, and rubber build up on the tire from the track.

Ride safe, Ted

^^That "hugger" profile is the only drawback to this fender installation
