Title: Which Vendor Offers a Rear Hugger??
Post by: ghostrider990 on January 22, 2019, 12:46:43 pm
Used to be Projekt D, but I don't see one on the list of parts available for the C14 any longer.  :-[

Anybody know who sells these nowadays???

edit:  Looks like Skidmarkz in the UK also still making both Plastic and CF.
Anybody have one to comment on fit and finish??

Thanks,
gr

not trying to be a Richard...... even tho I am,

but...
show me... please

https://www.murphskits.com/ (https://www.murphskits.com/)

maybe convince him to do "another group buy"...

as he never had them on his site, as a product "he carried and stocked", he just helped us out buy taking on the shipping and distribution, for a "group", because he is a great dude... Logistically ( meaning cash out/product on shelf) I don't think he was "keen" on trying to stock them... as they are seasonal, and the costs were prohibitive.

but I might be wrong, he hasn't called me in a few months. I guess I'll run down there when the snow melts.

As I said, Murph had them.
At the time, he added them to his catalogue and sent the info out.
This is where they "were" when he "did" stock them.   :nananana:

Apparently no longer in stock.
I suggest calling him to see if he has 1 lying around...

Play nice, you two!!  :truce:

I'm gonna ping Murph.

I'd like a crack at one of these, and another group buy might be in order.

stay tuned.

Best of luck on the hugger.

Hey MOB since you got cabin fever :(   get a hugger wax it about five times, cover the waxed area in fiberglass mat, build up with 5-6 more layers, pull original out, you now have a Hugger mold, Wax mold a few times, spray with gel coat three or so layers of mat, trim sell for $150.00 cost less than $10.00 to build , now you can pay the kid next door to shovel the driveway O:-)

Second!  I wonder why the UK seems to be the centrifuge of aftermarket body parts??

This is turning into a luxury item.  :-[
