Yep, that's how I have it wired and it still lags the OEM horn just moment or so before it over takes the OEM horn.

My Stebel is very quick to respond. Of course there is a micro second delay, but barely noticeable.  I would have to say that the simple physics of an electric operated airhorn will be slower then just an electric horn . Air moves much slower then electrical current.
