Windshield question for anyone 6'4" or up with an Aeroflow
« on: August 27, 2013, 07:22:26 pm »
I'm 6'5 with a 36" inseam and ride straight up.  I currently have a Cee Baileys ultra tour dome xtra tall and still get a little buffeting with the shield all the way up.  My question is about the tall aeroflow and would it be better for me at 6'5".  Would really love to hear someones honest opinion before shelling out another $300.

Thanks

you may not find "substantially" taller. I suggest find a product such as this for your current shield.  Can't recall who makes it for the C14 but they are very common.

MRA makes the add-on visor. Available through Twisted Throttle.
Matt

I haven't found a screen that I can put in the full up position without substantial back-pressure being the problem. I have tried the V stream and Cal Sci large as well as the stock screen. I am 6'4 and 240. 36" inseam.
If you find something that works well without the back-pressure please let me know.

Did you read mikerbiker's recent post?  Made me think of trying one.

Thanks for the replies guys.  The Aeroflow is just a hair shorter than my current windshield (13/16") and all us tall guys know that with windshields its a game of inches so I was just curious if the design would make a big difference over the CB.  I'm not at all disapointed with the CB but if I'm able to get even calmer air than I'm all in  :great:  BITS, I did read the post and thats what really got me thinking about it.  There are some interestings posts about the development of the Aeroflow as well.

Thanks guys,

Bryan

+1 as I'd like to know this as well.

try a different HELMET.

I was thinking about suggesting a different helmet too. I have a Bell I can't use with the Connie because it buffets hard.

My MultiTec is stable at all shield settings.
