The time has come to move in a different motorcycle direction, so I'm putting my 2002 C-10 up for sale. First, the details:

2002, Silver over black
35000 or so miles
Never dropped, crashed, or sworn at
Fires right up, runs smooth.
Shoodaben carb rejet by previous owner, including overflow tubes
Metzeler tires with plenty of life in them

Now, the goodies:

LED front trim lights
Madstad adjustable windscreen w/ thumb screws for quick removal (also included the stock shield)
Dual-USB power in the left "glove box"
Throttlemeister end-caps (note, I never did get the left one adjusted correctly, so at this point the throttle lock does not work)
Bergman Engineering fuel tank quick release
Stainless screw kit from Muprhs
Highway pegs from Murphs
Beaded seat cover
Stock side cases in excellent condition
44L Oxford topcase w/ LED "flashing" tail light
LED replacement bulbs in the taillight

As Stasch said below, this bike is a really nice example of how good the C10 can be. I'd really prefer to sell it to a COGger, since they know what they're getting. I'm willing to work with you to make that happen.

Hello again all:

Some more details I forgot to add this morning before the caffeine kicked in:

- The first / previous owner sent me the list of everything he had done...a lot of which I forgot:
- SISF Torque Intake Cam
 - SISF Exhaust Cam 7 degree advance gear
 - SISF torque jet kit that also includes overflow tubes for hydrolock prevention
 - Cylinders compression tested - at or above 190 on all 4
 - Belly pan mod to speed up oil changes.
 - Airbox crack prevention mod done.

Both owners (myself and the previous owner) are long-time COG members. When I bought this bike, I came from a 90 Concours, and I was surprised how much stronger this one pulled. I would hazard a guess that this is as strong as they'll run without doing a ton more mods. I'm really hoping it'll go to someone who can appreciate it.

Thanks
Matt

Matt, you listed - SISF Torque Intake Cam and SISF Exhaust Cam 7 degree advance gear.
The SISF Power Cam requires the SISF Exhaust Cam 7 degree advance gear, but (I think) the Torque Cam does not.
I don't think it can have both as (I think) the Torque cam is ground to include the advance.

If I'm wrong, can someone please correct me?

Time for me to chime in.  I picked this bike up from a COG member who was very active with COG in both MI and FL back in the mid 2000's.  He bought the bike new and I got it with about 27,000 miles.

The carbs were gunked up from sitting, so off they went to SISF.

Conversation with SISF Steve ensued and we ended up combining Tx jetting with overflow tubes, a Tx intake cam and a 7 degree advance exhaust cam gear.

Edited to Add:  The bike does not have a Tx Exhaust cam, but has a stock exhaust cam with the 7 degree advance exhaust cam gear.

The combination worked very well and it ran great - noticeably stronger than my 2000 (which also runs well with SISF's earliest jetting before the 2mm came out and a 7 degree advance exhaust cam gear - all done before some of his other goodies came to market)

I was going to keep the 2002 and sell my 2000.  The 2000 had many more miles wouldn't sell for more than peanuts so I regretfully let the 2002 go - which is where Matt came into the picture.

Someone is going to get a very nice, strong running bike.  If my 2000 wouldn't keep running so well all the time I would consider it myself!

My new bike gets here late this week, and I'd really like to send my Connie off before then. New price reflected in title.

Stealth bump:

I'm now throwing in my magnetic tank bag with the purchase, since it doesn't fit on my new bike.

This is Matt's garage. Matt's getting pretty depressed that nobody has bought his Connie yet. Also, I've been trying to lose weight, and this would go a long way. If you want to make an offer, I'll trap enough carbon monoxide so that Matt thinks it's a good deal.

Thanks
