Good evening all I was just wondering my friend and I made a deal were i would finish wiring is 53 Chevy truck  and doing some mechanical work on it in exchange for a 98 C-10 connie its been sitting for 3 years it did run because I was the one who worked on it this will be strictly a parts bike there is no title for it the saddle bags and hardware he wants to keep it only has I think 20,000 miles on it but not 100% positive I have not parted out a bike before So I was wondering what should I ask for the items IE engine wheels carbs etc etc. ball park figures would be OK and I will adjust accordingly thanks for the help :) :)

Kevin,how hard there to get a title or binding bill of sale for it?I would use DMV,vin#'s and plate if it has one to make sure its legal and to try and contact last owner to release interest... If you get me the #'s I'll try to investigate from here.    The Wizard

i'll see what i can do its sitting in our yard at the shop the owner was suppose to bring the title to us that was 3 years ago but like i said i see what i can do

I wouldn't part out a complete again. Packing, especially bulky body parts, shipping costs, all the communications, ugh. Two alternatives: buy a titled frame and swap parts or donate it to a nearby school shop and get a tax receipt. My first choice today would be to do the paperwork and get it titled.

consider an abandoned vehicle or mechanics lean title process. some states make it very easy to get a title this way.
