WTB SiSF-tickled carbs
« on: August 16, 2017, 05:36:46 pm »
I have a rack of stock carbs on my '99 and, while I don't care much about going faster, I want not to worry about hydrolock.

If you have a parts bike, or a bike you've been considering parting, and would sell its professionally overflow-tube'd carbs outright, or take mine in a partial trade, let's talk!

I can't justify a $500 carb service on a $1200 bike...sorry, Steve... :(

If you plan on riding the bike and keeping it for any length of time it is well worth the complete treatment.

Ooooh didn't know you could send in just the bowls, the Shoodaben site didn't make that clear. I'll email him and will do that if possible. Thanks for the tip!

David, I agree the full carb spa session would be ideal. Unfortunately I'm a student and the oilhead, my primary transportation, has motorcycle-budget priority.
