Concours 14 ABS - $8000 - Only 4,500MI - EXTRAS --SOLD--

2009 Concours 14 ABS - ZG1400 - Only 4,500MI - W/EXTRAS
Absolutely love this bike and it shows, but I sadly just have not had time, or what is worse, seemed to have lost the desire to ride. Used it to commute for a short bit, and that was great, until working from home and lack of time for pleasure whilst performing a major remodel and new construction. I'm confident this is the best C14 you can buy that is "used"....I would even argue better than new. Likely the most expensive '09 too, but read on and you'll see the value with the ultra low miles, extras, care, and upgrades.
Engine oil always Amsoil MC 10w-40, Mobil 1 final drive, all fully synthetic. Have always kept the fuel fresh and not a damn thing wrong, outside I just noted a headlight bulb is out. ALWAYS garaged.
This is my second Concours - the first being the older model. I used to be a COGS member, and upgrades to this bike were done with much thought and care.
It features GSG Body and axle sliders (German), Phil's Farkles aluminum luggage rack, RAM mount for GPS, tamper proof oil fill caps for engine and final drive, HID headlight conversion and LED (factory wiring NOT molested or altered - go back to original if desired with ease), Angel ST front and rear tires, Deltran LiFe battery (about a year old and super light).
Full Area P Stainless exhaust with Carbon fiber muffler, flies out, K&N air filter, and is dyno specific to the C14 with this configuration by Fuelmoto mapping via a DynoJet programmer. Only premium unleaded fed, and is required. Fuel has always been maintained.
Also included: taller windscreen, Fred Harmon's repair and service dvd's, socket for the stem nut if ever needed, brand new spare set of Angel ST tires, all factory emission system components, original air filter, extra grips, operator manual, and I likely have a new oil filter or two for it as well.
Full asking price will afford the Garmin GPS unit and possibly other goodies I can find. Currently and always registered. Thanks all for telling your friends, and thanks for all of the knowledgeable posts. My old account has been purged from inactivity, so had to start a new one.

If you're willing to sell the stem nut socket separately I'd like to buy it.
I'm in Fair Oaks so meeting would be easy.

Take a look at the other C14s for sale in the very emporium in which you are advertising. Most do a have a little more mileage than yours, but in Concours world 4K vs 24K is minor.

If you were looking for a Concours, which would you buy? Then adjust your price according to how badly you want it sold.

(Location does affect the price as does desired speed of sale. And "add-ons" and farkles add far less to the selling price than most sellers would hope.)

IMO you are a bit high. And keep in mind that most riders here already own a Concours of some flavor (or at least some ride)

Unfortunately we have all seen '12 and a few '13 models here selling for $7500 or thereabouts...  I think it's priced high no matter the location right now. I hate that this is the case but it is.

Thanks guys....Amazing the depreciation of this model...unfortunate. Was hoping someone here would recognize some value in a well cared for machine, for a friend. It is hard to have significant $$ in the bike to take a huge loss on....might just have to keep it around. It is sad to see it in the garage and not feeling the desire to go strech it's legs outside of around the block a few times....don't know what it is....hopefully it will come back. If I have to get to $7k or below, I simply can't let it go for that....would rather just have it ready for me when I want it. Thoughts?

unfortunately, I think that's the situation you are in.  you might get a better perspective on price by looking at cycle trader for the same year as yours.  we were at a rally over the weekend talking about how much the value of these things have dropped as they age.  great for a buyer, but not for a seller.

NADA Guide High Retail is $7k. Nada doesn't consider mileage so you might be able to swing it to $7500 but that would be the ceiling price for this one.
