Price cut for Corbin Smuggler and seat
« on: October 20, 2017, 10:38:15 am »
I traded my 2010 Connie, and am selling my Corbin Smuggler and driver seat. Has one small scratch where I got careless on a dismount, but otherwise fine. Includes two keys. Genuine 2010 Concours Candy Neptune blue in color. New from Corbin is over $1,300. Was asking $900 shipped to lower 48. New price: $800 for both, or will separate for $600 for Smuggler's alone, or $250 for driver seat alone. All prices include shipping.

In case anybody's wondering...Seth Laam will rebuild Corbin's.  I have this same combination.  Seth rebuilt mine and re-used the original heating element.  So it looks and feels good!

Awesome! I bet that's a sweet setup.

I love the looks and added storage space these provide, and have wanted one.
But have heard too much about how rock hard and uncomfortable they are, and the high price has always been a deal breaker for me.

I've got the Kawasaki gel seat, and love it. But, only ride solo now, and would sure like that setup.
How much did it end up costing you, once Seth reworked it?

Also... To the OP, your recent price drop helps make it very appealing, and I wish you the best with your sale! Pretty good deal for somebody! Somebody needs to grab this!

I certainly recommend this setup, especially if you have the Corbin reworked by Seth Laam.  I only had the rider's portion done.  It set me back $349 to have it customized for my height/weight using vinyl and my original Corbin heating element.  I've done 500+ mile days on it.
