Can't get into the tech articles
« on: June 01, 2015, 07:21:04 pm »
I get into the COG members menu and I get a list of the tech articles, but when I right click on any of the tech articles I get redirected to either a password sign-in page or the area events calendar page. I enter my user name and password and still get sent to the events calendar.  Re-direction seems random and circular always ending at the events calendar. I've cleared all the caches and restarted my browser..... no joy.

Persistence pays!  I got where I wanted to go by using the old tech standby; I rebooted the whole computer and managed to get a few disappearing drop down menus back. I took my first 'puter course when we programmed using colored wires on plug-in boards and little red wagons full of boxes of cards.  Got in through the now re-appeared library.

I have a few really old pix from the 70's with a few friends wearing our "club jackets" on our bikes. Prolly just a bit too low "resolution" for an avatar today. I was on a different world......

Good for you Alan!
I have a c-10 that those tech pages really come in handy for me.(just to read of course to learn in case anything would go wrong) My 03 runs really well and all I had to do to it was put on a new "Murphs" petcock, and have a steel bevel gear gasket put in it.  Of course, new Pirelli tires when i bought it.
But it is very reliable and so much fun to leave my friends 1200 Harley in the dust. A great bike!! Great for camping, I pull sometimes, a cut down harbor freight trailer. We live in forest grove and do the twisties at Hagg Lake all the time.  Let me know if you get out this way, we love to ride!
