Was it asking you for the pass word? or was it something else like you have stated?

You could be logged in here (forum) but not on the COGMOS side?

Also make sure you are allowing pop-ups, the password is given in a pop-up.

Matt - it may have something to do with the membership officer having to manually convert those who upgrade from forum only to full member.  Looks like that has been done recently and you should try accessing the tech stuff again.  Contact me if you still have issues.  Also, you can get you COG # in your forum profile by refreshing it by logging out and back in of the forum.

I suspect you may need to turn off the pop up blocker.  There is a pop up window that has the password needed to access the document.  Please write a step by step of what you are doing so I can better understand where you are getting hung up.  Or maybe we can chat on the phone and square you away.

It looks like there is a problem with the Fall 2012 issue cause I can't pull up anything from that issue but I can from most others.

Hard to see what you are doing from here.  :(  Have you tried to get the issue directly from the library without using the article links? (although those worked for me too)

When you get to the fall issue page, do you see the small mag cover image?
Do you see & click the Download File link?

Ping me direct when you want to try to access the fall issue.  I have some tricks up my sleeve, but we will need to start by talking on the phone.

Steve since I can get all the other issues no problem I don't feel like pulling rabbits out of the hat ( as in tricks up your sleeves ) to read a simple issue. I will find the info other places and move on from there. Thanks for your help.

Steve,  I am having the same issues though it's only been about a week since I registered.  Also,  still don't see my COG# even after logging out and back in?

Robert - From what I can see there are a few forum subscriber upgrades that are still pending membership officer processing (yours is one). Not sure if Darrell is on the road or swamped at work, but a kind email to membership@cog-online.org asking to have your membership upgrade expedited may be in order.

I'm having the same problem of not being able to view the Fall 2012 edition of the Concourrier. It is not even showing up on the list in the Concourrier Archives. And it is not letting me see a tech article in it. I'm looking for Fred's article on fuel pump cleaning procedure.  This "operator" is frustrated!!!

Hopefully this is not taken as a dumb question. But I'm not sure if your just looking at the listing for the fall 2012 Concourier or if you actually downloaded the actual file for viewing? Just in case folks don't realize this. You must click on {Download File} in the top right corner right under "Concours Owners Group (COG) Library" pertaining to each archived Concourier issue, in order to actually view said issue. I Just tried downloading the fall 2012 issue and it came right in for me. I was able to scroll right down through the issue to Fred's article. This of course worked for me and not necessarily everyone.  So the question is, did you actually download the issue for viewing or maybe only looked at the listing?

Rene,  please try the fall issue again - it should work for you now.   With so many documents to manage it is sometimes difficult for our volunteer admins to keep up and mistakes will happen. The sooner the volunteers know of a problem, the sooner they can begin to work on it.

I have having similar but different issues accessing the tech files.  First off clicking on the article itself I get the "must have permission" dialog.  If I click on the actual issue I get 'only' the last issue available.  I am trying to access Fred's article on setting the suspension.  It has been three days since I paid.

Walt... you were a forum only subscriber prior to becoming a full member 3 days ago. As the forum post on upgrading membership states, once paid the upgrade requires a manual intervention by the volunteer membership officer and could take several days until he gets around to doing a block of processing.  You can send a nice email to membership (info on contact page) explaining you just upgraded to full membership and ask to finalize processing your membership.
