Event Center Calendar Listings
« on: May 28, 2015, 04:26:12 am »
The Event Center Event Queue used to have an option to delete an event, but since an upgrade occurred the delete tool is gone.  Instead of deleting an event, I decided to try to edit the location, but it won't allow me to do that.  Now what?

Charlie, I show there is still a delete selection.  Email me which event you are looking to delete and let me take a look at it.

The delete function is built into the event status selector.

Only admins can edit or delete a location. The system has always worked this way. Memberize states this was done to prevent the chance someone will change or delete a location in use by another event since once added they can be used from the list of locations. ADs can send location edits to an admin to be applied.

There is more to be gained by members raising hands saying "I'll do that" instead of pointing fingers saying "nobody's doing that."

Hi Fred,
As soon as I have enough free time I will.  I'm currently trying to get enough work done for no one to notice when I take off for a week.
