Yes, the 'One Commandment' or similar. Quite a few of us are waiting for that decision.

I spend a couple of hours over the weekend revising the Forum and Moderators Guidelines. My draft has has already been reviewed by 2 other officers that formed the review committee and I have just posted up the 2nd draft for the Mod's and Officers to review and provide their feedback.

My aim is to have the revised guidelines posted up by the end of the week.

The delay in completing this was simply down to me being in the UK for the last 3 weeks helping my aging parents move house.

Cheers

Colin

  Colin,

 Thank you for the response.
No criticism intended on the time table. Just wondering if it was in the works.

Edit: apparently not all, not this one.

 Now what?
A post now requires approval by a moderator?

I Don't know why some folks are getting this. But I am approving any of these pink "waiting on approval" posts that I see. Hopefully Colin or one of the other forum Czar's will see what is causing it, in short order.

This was addressed in another thread, for anyone who didn't see it, apparently the require approval setting was turned on inadvertently when other settings were changed. For anyone who has never seen the back-end of SMF it's like walking into the cockpit of a 747 with no owners manual and it's no surprise that occasionally things get messed up. And of course, the mods and admins don't see this, since they would be exempt from needing approval anyway.

Fortunately we won't have to ditch in the ocean if a switch gets thrown the wrong way. ;)
