Marking a post
« on: September 28, 2012, 09:03:04 am »
There are quite a few posts here that have excellent technical information.  Is there a way that I can mark a post for future reference? Something like "Mark as a Favorite". I have not been able to find a way to do this in the help section.
Best website on the web. Many thanks!

I normally just click on the topic address at the top of the page and save it in my favorites for reference. But to honest, I'm not sure about the forum itself for marking a post. So now I'm interested myself. Oh Steve.

The forum does not have this feature.

I agree with Bob.  Create a Bookmarks folder in your browser, and save them as favorites there.  Be sure to change the name of the bookmark to something meaningful of the tech info.

There is more to be gained by members raising hands saying "I'll do that" instead of pointing fingers saying "nobody's doing that."

I've got dozens of threads bookmarked, but for the benefit of new members, I felt it would help to have some listing of threads by topic. For example the topic of customizing the position of the bars comes up frequently, so I started a thread to list related topics:  Customizing the hand-grip position: Handlebar adapters, Risers, Helibars, etc... and stickied it.

It would be nice to have more topics of this nature, to help find information, particularly for people who haven't been on this forum for long.
